"We", "us" and "Tikka" mean Xekhai Creative Solutions. "You" means whoever uses this site or buys a ticket through it. Using the site or buying a ticket means you accept these terms.
2. What we do
We are an event production and ticketing partner. For each event we work on, we:
- design, build and host the event's website, with ticket checkout built into it;
- operate ticket sales or free RSVP registration for that event;
- issue QR-coded electronic tickets and RSVP passes; and
- run QR scanning and door admission on the event day.
We work with organizers we have a written agreement with. Tikka is not a self-serve platform — you cannot list an event and start collecting money without an agreement in place with us.
3. Buying a ticket
When you buy a ticket for an event on Tikka, we sell it to you as the contracted ticketing operator for that event's organizer, who has authorized us in writing to collect payment for it. Your right to be admitted is against the organizer, who runs the event. Your right to a correctly issued ticket, a working QR code and a refund where one is due is against us.
The ticket price is set by the organizer. Any fees are shown at checkout before you pay, and the total you confirm is the total you are charged. Tickets are sold subject to availability, and a ticket is only yours once payment is confirmed.
4. Your ticket
We issue tickets after the payment processor confirms your payment, and email them to the address you gave at checkout. Each ticket carries its own QR code.
Admission is by the QR code alone. Anyone presenting it can be admitted, so treat it like cash: do not post it publicly or forward it to anyone you do not intend to admit. We cannot re-admit you if someone else has already used your code.
- Each ticket admits one person once. A code that has already been scanned will not scan again.
- Bring the ticket on your phone or printed — either scans.
- If your ticket email has not arrived, check spam first, then contact us. We can re-send it to the address on the order.
- We may void a ticket obtained fraudulently, bought with a card reported stolen, or resold in breach of an event's terms. Where we void a ticket that was paid for honestly, we refund it.
Events may set their own conditions of entry — age limits, ID, dress code, searches. Those come from the organizer and are shown on the event's page. A ticket does not override them, and being refused entry under them is not a fault in the ticket.
5. Payment
Card payments are processed by Paystack. Your card details go to Paystack directly and are never seen or stored by us — we receive only the transaction reference, the amount and whether it succeeded. Payments are in Nigerian Naira unless an event's checkout says otherwise.
6. Refunds
Refund terms are set per event and shown at that event's checkout, and cancelled events are always refunded. The full detail is on our Refunds & Cancellations page, which forms part of these terms.
7. Who is responsible for the event
The organizer is responsible for the event itself: the venue, permits and licences, safety, performers and vendors, and for the event taking place as advertised. They are also responsible for the accuracy of the event information and for holding the rights to the names, logos and content they supply for the event site.
We are responsible for the ticketing service: selling the ticket, issuing it, getting it to you, scanning it at the door, and handling refunds under the policy for that event. Where our service fails — a ticket that never arrived, a code that will not scan, a charge that produced no ticket — come to us and we will put it right.
We do not control what happens at an event, and we are not liable for the event's content, its cancellation, or anything that happens at the venue. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
8. Using this site
The design, code, text and images on tikka.cloud and on the event sites we build are ours or our clients', and are not yours to copy or reuse. Do not attempt to break, overload or gain unauthorized access to the site, the checkout or the ticketing system, and do not use automated tools to buy tickets in bulk.
9. If you are an event organizer
Our work with organizers runs on a signed Event Ticketing and Production Services Agreement covering services, fees, revenue collection and settlement. Where that agreement differs from this page, the agreement governs. This page does not create a ticketing arrangement on its own — to work with us, start a project.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. The version in effect when you bought your ticket is the one that applies to it — the date at the top of this page tells you which that is.
11. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. If something has gone wrong, contact us first — we would rather fix it than argue about it, and we resolve almost everything at the first email.
